FOOTSTEPS OF FAITH

What is a faith journey and how can I get one?
Come to the Youth Center at 5pm on Sunday nights for worship, games, fun and fellowship!

April 16th WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY
“Standing Outside the Fire”      

How can we stand up for God? In a world where the pressure seems too great sometimes, how can we respond to God’s call in our lives everyday?

 

Middle School Shindig      April 20th     Easley Presbyterian Church

Leave GFPC at 2:15pm return by 6pm. Parents can pick up at 6:30pm.

Come join the Presbytery Youth Council and youth from all over the upstate for an afternoon centered around mission! We’ll play, meet in small groups, do projects for local missions and worship together.

April 27th    5pm       The Pathfinders Guide to the Galaxy
If there are so many different paths, why do I have to take this one? We'll take a look at our faith journeys so far and talk about what it means to be a follower of Christ.

May 2nd Confirmation Retreat Lock- In
Any Junior High who wants to join us for this night is definitely welcome! We'll do Hands on Greenville Day the next day up at Eden Farms.

May 4th No Evening Program

CONFIRMATION – SUNDAY AFTERNOON

7th Grade Confirmation meets on Sundays from 4:00-5:00pm on Sunday evenings with Lauren and Becky.

April 20th No Confirmation- Middle School Shindig

 April 27th Confirmans meet with Session for examination

May 2nd-3rd CONFIRMATION RETREAT LOCK IN at the church

May 18th Confirmation Class will join the Church during the 11:00 Worship service

In a culture that is increasingly populated by people from many different cultures and religious backgrounds, it is more important than ever to educate young people about what it means to be a Christian. Confirmation is a good forum for young people to learn what is unique about being Presbyterian and how Christianity is similar to and different from other religions.
