Agape (Room #117) – Ken Schafer

Using the Uniform Lesson Series, Present Word, the study is in Exodus and Psalms.  Members of this class are still in the work force or recently retired.

Common Ground (Room #104) –

Susan & Walter Burch, Tom & Doreen Magaha 

A Bible Study of the Book of Genesis. Most members are in their twenties and early thirties.

Conversations (Room #108) – Diane Groce and Belinda Tapp

Book study: Being Presbyterian in the Bible Belt by Ted Foote and Alex Thornburg. Members of this class are still in the work force or recently retired.

Good Ole Bible Study (Room #106) – Sam Clayton 

Bible study discussion of the book of Galatians. Most members of this class are in their thirties and forties.

J. S. Robinson (Room #101) – Jim Talbert 

This class is in their third year of an in-depth study of the Letter to the Corinthians. Members of this class are still in the work force or recently retired.

Lidie Shanklin (Room #107) – Nelle Howell and Charlotte Koehler 

Using the Uniform Lesson Series, Present Word, the study is in Exodus and Psalms. This class is comprised of older women.

Presbyterians Meditating (Room #105) – Ray White 

Mediation is one of the five essential disciplines of Christianity and is mediation and an integral part of our tradition. The class practices various methods of mediation. Members of this class are still in the work force or recently retired.

Seekers (Room #114) – Ronnie Bruce

This class is for those “seeking” lively discussions on contemporary spiritual issues with a Biblical basis. Members of this class are still in the work force or recently retired.

Sisterhood (Room #206) – Amy Couch 

This semester begins with a 6-week study by Donald K. McKim: Being Reformed ~ Theology for Presbyterians and follows up with a 6-week study by Jesus’ Parables of Grace. Women in this class are all ages and in various stages of life.

Young Spirits (Room #122) – Genia Carr 

Using the Visual Bible DVD and Serendipity Bible, this class will look at the Book of Matthew, the Gospel of John and Acts. Members of this class are generally in their early thirties and forties.

 

NEW THOUGHTFUL CHRISTIAN (Room #118C) –

Wayne Cole, Craig Kubias and others  

Join us for free-flowing and stimulating conversation based on the Presbyterian  web-based resource center, The Thoughtful Christian. One or two-week studies will range from Bible studies to current events to culture to environment. Jesus calling us to love God with our minds as well as our hearts and souls challenges us to live faithfully in a complex world!
