First Presbyterian Church of Greer (FPCG) offers diversity in the choice of Sunday School classes, beginning at 10:00 on Sunday mornings. Most of the adult classes are taught by class members. Classes are responsive to the needs of their members, and when appropriate, information is given to our church staff for further response. For a complete listing and locations of classes, drop by the office or check our website (www.fpcgreer.org).

First Pres 101 is designed especially for persons who’ve recently joined or are considering becoming a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greer (FPCG). (Long time members may also find the classes informative.) The class meets in four sessions discussing our Reformed Theology, Presbyterian church government, the history of First Presbyterian Church, and opportunities for commitment and involvement within our congregation.

Bible study groups attract many participants. Morning and evening sessions are scheduled to accommodate needs and preferences. The curriculum used determines the number of weeks involved in each study. Check our publications or call the office for upcoming offerings.

Puppet Ministry

Our puppet ministry continues to evolve. This group’s performances are always welcomed and enjoyed as part of Wonderful Wednesday, worship, and as an outreach at senior adult facilities in our area. Interested adults and mid and senior high youth are encouraged to meet on Wednesday nights after the family meal time to learn about the ministry and prepare for performances. This is a wonderful way to be involved in spreading the good news of God’s love.
