Fellowship Ministry The Fellowship Ministry’s duties as outlined by the Board of Deacons consists of two church-wide fellowship events each calendar year. The ministry is chaired and co-chaired by deacons, and the committee is comprised of members from various facets of our church family. Semi-annual events and activities are planned throughout the calendar year to promote fellowship between our existing members, visitors and community.
Stitchin’ Group For all women who enjoy stitchin’! Bring your lunch and meet with us each month. Come share your ideas, patterns and enjoy fellowship together! Check our publications for the specific day of the month as it sometimes changes.
Evening Fellowship Groups First Presbyterian Church of Greer (FPCG) has several fellowship groups that get together for fun, food, and fellowship in people’s homes or out to eat. This is a wonderful way for long-time and recent members and visitors to get to know each other in Christian settings.
Scrapbook Fellowship Group Several women enjoy getting together to scrapbook their treasured family memories, activities and events. From weekend getaways to spur-to-the-moment gatherings, these women get together to “scrap” at the church, in someone’s home, or at an official scrapbook event. Through these fellowship opportunities, there is a Christian-family connectedness as personal stories are captured.
Book Club The book club has a life of its own. Members choose a book to read and discuss once a month, but it doesn’t stop there. They invite authors to speak at their meetings, go on train rides, have luncheons, and go on overnight excursions. There are quite a few book club members and not all are members of First Presbyterian Church of Greer (FPCG), but they’re all friends of the church and community.
