"A Christ Called Community"

From the Pastor

Vacation Bible School offers great experiences during June. Check it out by clicking on this logo. You can register for VBS by filling out the online form or just browse the site to see what's happening. Vacation Bible School starts Sunday June 21st and ends Wednesday June 24th.

Founded in 1841, we have a long history of ministry to Jesus Christ in Greer.  While we have a 166 year heritage, we’re not resting on our laurels.  With programs and activities for people of all ages, we are a vibrant congregation that has experienced a growth of nearly 10% in the past two years.   We offer two worship services – one traditional and one contemporary, Sunday School opportunities and music programs for people of all ages, senior and mid-high youth ministry, basketball teams, a mid-week fellowship dinner and study, and a host of opportunities to be of service to Jesus Christ in Greer and beyond.

We believe our mission statement accurately reflects who we are and what we hope to do:

We are imperfect people, called by Christ to seek and obey God’s will.  Our church will serve Christ faithfully in Greer, South Carolina and the world by ministering to the whole person – spiritually, physically, emotionally and intellectually.  We believe Christ will do great things in us and through us for His kingdom.

We invite you to come join with us at the corner of South Main and School Streets in downtown Greer.

As we:

·  worship God

·  seek to grow in our faith

·  develop friendships which will encourage and sustain us

·  reach out to others in the name of Christ

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another.”   John 13:34-35
